It feels like a lifetime ago since we started but it also feels like yesterday, and we’ve come a long way since!
This business is amazing, it’s hard at times yes, but it’s so rewarding, and the work-life balance is second to none…it doesn’t just give time for you to others, it gives time for us!
And to think that this time 10 years ago we were delivering frozen chips!
Still remember the first client we signed like it was yesterday. I parked the lorry up, clocked out and raced off down to Thatcham. I got changed in a lay-by next to a woodland (that could have turned out very differently!), from steel toe cap boots to skirt and heels and made it to the client just in time for the appointment.
After 20 mins or so I came out of there holding a cheque for £208! Couldn’t believe it, the client didn’t bat an eyelid!
3 months later I packed in driving. 2 years later Eddie was able to take early retirement, not that he did because he still liked driving, by this time he was delivering beer! He just cut his hours, put himself onto a zero hour contract and told them when he wanted to work, simply because he could.

So much so we’ve run off to walk on the beach today - because we can!!
